During the Republican National Convention in Minnesota last September, law enforcement conspired to repress people and free speech through brutality in the streets and entrapment and trumped up charges in court. More than 800 people were arrested, including journalists from NPR, AP and local radio and newspapers.
Less than 3% of arrests were found to be prosecutable, which included Bradley Crowder (2 years) and David McKay (4 years) from Midland, Texas.
The two were convicted on charges of possession of molotov cocktails after being set up by state informant and former activist Brandon Darby.
